Performer. Choreographer. Storyteller.

M. Elena Maddy (she/her)

Born and raised in Peterstown, WV, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains I love so well, I grew up in a musical household— my dad was an eighties headbanger, and my mom was a classical singer: I am their by-product! I have a younger sister, who is the dearest person in the world to me, and when we aren’t screlting Barbie songs together, we’re obsessing over kpop and watching (crying over) Bluey together. I start my story with them, as they have helped shape me into who I am today (and so did Taylor Swift).

With my family’s support, I graduated summa cum laude and as an Honors Laurate with my BFA in Musical Theatre and my BA in Dance from West Virginia University, and now performing has become the great pursuit of my life. I am a curious, well-rounded performer, who can always be counted on. Whether you need a princess, the girl next door, or a sexy dancer, I always strive to discover the character underneath the label and help tell their story. Not only do I love what I do, but I believe all art, and therefore my work, possesses the power of change, touching lives one story at a time.
