Audacious Women - Maddy & Hyde

Audacious Women is a choreography project that I created with my co-choreographer (and best friend) Bec Hyde. It explores societal rules placed upon women, and how those rules impact their sensuality, sexuality, and sense of self. Audacious Women is a WVU Honors EXCEL funded project and is mentored by Dr. Yoav Kaddar, the Director of Dance at WVU. Our show, danced by an incredible cast of WVU students, faculty, and alum, premiered on Feb. 18th, 2023, and we could not be prouder of the evening that was created! We look forward to continuing our work with the project and planting the seeds of change one dance at a time!
