Can’t Get Started - Dance Now! 2023

WVU’s 2023 Dance Now! show was one for the books! Not only did I get to dance in incredible student choreographed works, but I had the honor of dancing with the Director of Dance and my choreographic mentor Dr. Yoav Kaddar. Can’t Get Started, a piece choreographed by Peter Pucci and Carol Parker, is a comedic duet to big band music, full of character and “chair choreography.” Dr. Kaddar learned the duet from Pucci and Parker themselves, so I had the opportunity to become part of the passing down of art through time. Dancing with Dr. Kaddar was truly a dream come true, and I will always treasure this performance.
